READY TO START REFORMER PILATES?

Designed for a stronger leaner body, a healthier, more energised you.

Low-Impact, High Reward.

The Pilates reformer is an incredibly versatile piece of equipment and can be used lying down, standing, kneeling or on all fours.

Most exercises on the reformer involve some sort of pushing and/or pulling action. Other exercises involve keeping the carriage still whilst the tension of the springs works against you.

Another useful application of the reformer – and part of why it is so effective – is that it can be either assistive or resistive. In basic terms, this means that exercises can be made more or less challenging using the machine.

  • The Pilates reformer is used for exercises focusing on length, strength, flexibility, and balance. It offers versatility, allowing various exercises in different positions such as lying down, sitting, standing, and with additional equipment.

  • Reformer Pilates is a dynamic exercise method that offers a multitude of benefits for both the body and mind. Utilizing the reformer machine, which features a sliding carriage, springs, and straps for resistance, this practice targets every muscle group, promoting overall strength, flexibility, and endurance. The controlled movements focus heavily on core stability, which not only sculpts and tones the body but also improves posture and alignment. This makes Reformer Pilates particularly effective for injury prevention and rehabilitation, especially for those with back pain or joint issues. Additionally, the low-impact nature of the exercises ensures a reduced risk of injury, making it accessible for all fitness levels. Reformer Pilates also enhances mind-body connection, reduces stress, and supports long-term physical wellness and balance

  • The benefits of Reformer Pilates extend beyond physical improvements, as it has been found to positively impact mental health. By integrating breath and movement to promote mindfulness, it aids in stress management and relaxation, helping reduce cortisol and increase endorphins for a natural mood boost. Specially designed Reformer programs can cater to these mental health benefits.
